Before fragrance creation, customers need to express their needs accurately and in detail, including the type of fragrance they want, what product the fragrance will be used for, and other special needs. The process of communication may be hampered, mainly due to the fact that most people cannot describe the fragrance completely accurately. The perfumer will use his or her knowledge of the available chemical ingredients to create a formula. Finally, the fragrance is given to the customer for relevant testing.
