Squalane is a highly stable, fully saturated hydrocarbon derived from the hydrogenation of squalene. Our natural squalane is a colorless, odorless, non-greasy, and lightweight oily liquid that is exceptionally skin-friendly. Production Process
Our squalane is produced from shark liver oil extracted through a cold pressing process, which preserves the natural integrity of the oil by avoiding heat degradation. The cold-pressed shark liver oil, rich in squalene, is then purified and subjected to hydrogenation to convert the unsaturated squalene into fully saturated, stable squalane.
This combination of cold pressing and hydrogenation ensures a high-purity, high-quality squalane with excellent stability and skin compatibility for use in personal care products.
